During the exam period, it’s helpful to know which locations are less crowded. You can find all extended opening hours and crowd indicators on the study spaces pageExternal link. To reserve project rooms or study booths, visit the UvA SpacefinderExternal link or inquire at your study association or the library desk.

Stricter access policy

During exam periods, a stricter access policyExternal link is in effect. Please note that the Library is only accessible with a valid UvA student or staff card. Make sure to bring your physical card, as access is not possible without it.

Join guided study sessionsExternal link! These sessions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 13:00 to 18:30. You’ll study as part of a team in the special Focus Room (room C.1.01) at the UB Singel, or online via Microsoft Teams. The sessions follow a structured schedule that includes time for studying, breaks, reflection, collaboration, and information sharing.
