  • Request a special facility (e.g. for examinations)To qualify for a special facility (e.g. for examinations) it is important to request it on time.
  • How to use your examination facilityFind out here when the examination facility granted to you applies and what you need to take into account. To do so, select your programme in the field at the top if you're not logged in.
  • Support for students with ADD or ADHDIf your ADD or ADHD is causing you problems during your studies, the student psychologist, your study adviser or a student counsellor may be able to help.
  • Support for students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)If you have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), you may benefit from additional support and assistance during your studies. The UvA offers student counselling and facilities.
  • Support for students with dyslexiaIf you are dyslexic, you can request additional examination time. You must do this at least six weeks before the date of your assessment or examination.
  • UvA IDEAsUvA IDEAs is a platform run by students with a disability who are committed to creating an accessible and inclusive UvA.
  • Digital accessibilityThe digital information that the UvA and AUAS offer must be accessible to people with a disability. We are doing our utmost to make sure of this.
  • Building accessibilityAt the UvA, we ensure that people with a disability are able to make as much use of our buildings and facilities as possible.
